Trans-seasonal skin and how to deal!

As summer comes to an end, our skin undergoes a number of changes due to the environmental factors we are exposed to during the season. One of the most noticeable changes is the increase in pigmentation we’ll have experienced over Summer, which is caused by exposure to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays.

This can lead to sunspots, freckles, and a general darkening of the skin but Nunkeri Beauty has you covered with our IPL Sq and Microneedling as your go-to treatments for dealing with pigmentation.

Additionally, post-summer skin may feel rough and dry due to the hot and humid weather, leading to a build-up of dead skin cells. This can cause the skin to appear dull and lacklustre.

Another change that may occur is an increase in oil production, which can lead to acne breakouts. This is because the heat and humidity can cause the pores to become clogged with sweat, dirt, and oil.

Our solution? Some Microdermabrasion to slough off those old layers of dead skin and reveal a renewed, dewy complexion.

Furthermore, the skin may become more sensitive due to increased exposure to the sun and other environmental factors. This can lead to redness, irritation, and even sunburn.

To combat these changes, it is important to adjust your skincare routine accordingly. This may involve using a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin cells, using a moisturizer to hydrate the skin, and incorporating products with antioxidants and high-level actives to protect the skin from environmental stressors. Don’t forget about Nunkeri Beauty’s stunning skincare range, Dp Dermaceuticals, which will support your skin no matter its needs.

And remember, the weather may start to cool down but it’s still important to continue wearing sunscreen as UV rays can still cause damage and premature ageing to the skin.

Enjoy your cool change!
